"WELCOME HOME" TO OUR PARISH COMMUNITY

Adult Faith Formation

Holy Family offers Faith Formation programs to adults through several outlets.

  • Adult Book Study - We offer group book studys at different times in the year.

Fr. Ben’s Book Study will resume on Sunday, Feb 26th in St. Mary’s Hall between the Masses (9:45-10:45am)!

For the first three weeks, he will discuss Part II of “Jesus and the Jewish Roots of the Eucharist”.

He then will present “Genesis 1-11: The Beginning of the Salvation History, and why it matters”.

Make sure to BYOB(ible) and a notebook…You will want to take notes!

  • RCIA program- the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) program is offered each year beginning in September.  This is for individuals interested in learning more about or joining the Catholic faith.  If joining the faith is what is desired after participating in the program, the Celebration of the Sacraments of Initiation occurs during the Easter Vigil Liturgy on Holy Saturday (the Saturday before Easter) when the candidates receive the sacraments of Baptism (if not already baptised in a Christian faith), Confirmation, and Holy Eucharist to be full initiated into the Catholic Church.  Preparatory meetings are held every Wednesday evening and offer the opportunity to make connections with people of faith and dive deeper into the catechism of the Catholic Church.

Please contact our Director of Faith Formation Julie Hird at 706-289-9322 or email her through our CONTACT US webpge for further information and how to join.
